Teri grew up in central Michigan, the youngest of eight children. She attended Michigan Technological University studying forestry and computer science. Teri moved to Alaska when she was 20 years old. She spent 40 years in Alaska where she got married and raised two wonderful children. Homeschooling, Scouting, gardening, camping, hunting and fishing, and working kept her very busy. Moving to The Florida Keys in 2019, she has been working in-home hospice and acclimating to the heat, lizards and bugs, while relearning how to grow things. Teri works as a paraprofessional and is part of the aftercare team at TVM.
